57-year-old Scott Mathew murdered his wife, 51-year-old Denise Mathew, before committing suicide in Astoria, Oregon.
A murder-suicide took place in Astoria, Oregon, involving Scott Mathew, 57, who shot his wife, Denise Mathew, 51, before taking his own life. The couple was found in their apartment at Bayshore Apartments. Denise, the apartment manager, died from gunshot wounds, while Scott's death was ruled a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Astoria Police Department is investigating and urges anyone with information to contact Detective Madyson Hanna.
