The Hollidaysburg Healthy Hub, a new food bank facility in Pennsylvania, aims to combat local food insecurity by distributing 28 million meals over three years. Located in a former scrapple plant, it will provide fresher produce and save the Food Bank $100,000 annually. Funded by a $1.7 million investment, including a $1 million grant from the Ferris Foundation, the Hub encourages public contributions to support its operations.
