Kenya has launched nine regional tourism circuits to enhance its tourism sector by promoting lesser-known attractions across all 47 counties. The initiative aims to attract both domestic and international tourists by catering to diverse interests such as adventure, culture, and eco-tourism. The Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife seeks to boost visitor numbers to 3 million by 2024 and 5 million within three years, emphasizing domestic travel as part of the Tembea Kenya initiative.
