Manuel Aviles, 36, was arrested in Old Lyme after allegedly stealing a black Jeep Grand Cherokee in West Haven. State police, aided by K9 Rocco, located him hiding in the woods. He faced charges including larceny of a motor vehicle, interfering with an officer, and second-degree breach of peace. Aviles is currently held on a $50,000 bond and had an arraignment scheduled in New London court.
