Wholesale electricity prices have dropped 74.1% from their peak in August 2022, with a 9.5% decrease from July and a 5.6% decline compared to August 2021. The Central Statistics Office reports a 0.2% drop in overall energy prices. Additionally, food producer prices fell 2.2% over the year, with notable increases in fish products (7.7%) and decreases in grain milling (4.7%). Overall manufacturing producer prices decreased by 1.7%.
