The Supreme Court of Tasmania has overturned a ban on the Museum of Old and New Art's women-only exhibit, the Ladies Lounge, which was previously deemed discriminatory against men. The court ruled that the exhibit, created to address ongoing gender disadvantages, does not violate anti-discrimination laws. MONA’s legal team is optimistic about reopening the lounge after the tribunal reconsiders its earlier ruling.
