Rapper K'naan, born Keinan Abdi Warsame, has been charged with sexual assault in Quebec City for an incident that allegedly took place between July 16 and 17, 2010, during the Festival d'été de Québec. The complainant, who was 29 at the time, remains anonymous. K'naan, who now lives in Brooklyn, New York, has pleaded not guilty, and a preliminary hearing is set for April 2025. He recently received a cultural impact award for his hit "Wavin' Flag."
