Antonio Prieto, 46, has been charged with second-degree murder for allegedly killing his wife, Elibeth Salazar, 29, with an axe in their Buffalo apartment on August 26. Found with self-inflicted knife wounds, he was hospitalized before facing charges. Prieto is held without bail and is scheduled for a pre-trial conference on October 28.
