Mumbai's Entod Pharmaceuticals met with India's Drug Controller General (DCGI) after the suspension of their PresVu eye drops, approved for presbyopia treatment. The suspension, enacted due to concerns over misleading claims, prompted CEO Nikkhil K Masurkar to clarify that the drops are prescription-only and not a substitute for reading glasses. Entod has committed to comply with regulatory conditions and seeks to have the suspension reconsidered.
