Jaguar Land Rover invests £500m in Halewood plant for electric vehicle production by 2025.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is investing £500 million ($669.6 million) to upgrade its Halewood plant in the UK for electric vehicle (EV) production, part of its strategy to electrify all brands by 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality by 2039. The facility will feature advanced technology, including 750 robots, to support the manufacturing of both EVs and traditional vehicles. JLR plans to invest a total of £18 billion in EVs by 2028 and introduce a new electric Jaguar by 2025.
