97% of Irish drivers surveyed view driving under the influence as the most dangerous behavior.

A survey by The AA in Ireland found that 56% of drivers always follow speed limits, while 42% do so most of the time. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is viewed as the most dangerous behavior by 97% of respondents, with using a mobile phone (96%) and speeding (95%) also high on the list. Despite 94% treating cyclists as equals, 38% frequently see others breaking traffic rules. Aggressive driving and poor indicator use frustrate many motorists.
