Intel has announced a new microcode update, 0x12B, to address voltage instability in its 13th and 14th-generation Core processors, identified as "Vmin Shift Instability." This update targets four scenarios causing crashes and is being distributed through BIOS updates by motherboard manufacturers. While it aims to prevent further issues, it won't fix already affected CPUs. Intel has extended warranties for these processors by two years to support impacted users.
