India appoints B Vanlalvawna as Ambassador to Cambodia, succeeding Devyani Uttam Khobragade.

India's Ministry of External Affairs has appointed B Vanlalvawna as the new Ambassador to Cambodia. A 1998-batch Indian Foreign Service officer, he is currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry. Vanlalvawna will succeed Devyani Uttam Khobragade in this role. He is expected to assume his new position shortly.
