BASF revises 2025 dividend proposal to €2.25 per share, targets €12bn shareholder distribution by 2028.

BASF, the German chemical company, has revised its 2025 dividend proposal to a minimum of €2.25 per share, down from €3.40 in 2024 and 2023. As part of a new strategy, the company aims to distribute at least €12 billion to shareholders from 2025 to 2028. BASF is also considering divesting noncore businesses and focusing on its main segments while projecting EBITDA of €10 to €12 billion by 2028.
