99% of train company members and 88% of Network Rail workers accept pay offers, ending a two-year dispute.

UK rail workers represented by the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union have overwhelmingly accepted pay offers from train companies and Network Rail, effectively concluding a two-year dispute. The approved deals include a 4.5% pay rise for Network Rail and increases of 4.75% and 4.5% for train operators over the past and upcoming financial years. The decision, supported by 99% of train company members and 88% of Network Rail workers, aims to stabilize rail services.
