Orange County Judge arrested for consuming alcohol while awaiting trial for wife's murder, bail revoked and raised to $2M.

Orange County Judge Jeffrey Ferguson was arrested after allegedly violating bail conditions by consuming alcohol while awaiting trial for his wife's murder. Initially out on $1 million bail, it was revoked and raised to $2 million after a monitoring device indicated he had been drinking. Ferguson, who pleaded not guilty, claims the alcohol monitor was triggered by hand sanitizer. He is set to return to court on November 1 for further proceedings.
