Nova Scotia's government has announced plans for four new schools in the Halifax area—Timberlea, Middle Sackville, Port Wallace, and Bedford—to address population growth. These schools will provide 5,000 new student spaces and are part of a broader 2023 capital plan that includes 14 schools across the province. Construction is anticipated to take five to six years.
