All open burning of yard waste and large brush is prohibited until sufficient rainfall occurs. However, outdoor fireplaces, barbecue grills, and burning trash in approved incinerators are permitted. Residents can obtain a burn permit for other burning activities from the local fire chief. The ban will remain in effect until further notice.
