Child care provider Ija Hall faces child abuse charges after a foster child's burns; license suspended, other children placed in protective custody.

Ija Hall, a daycare provider in Wichita, faces two counts of child abuse after a foster child in her care suffered second-degree burns. The Kansas Department of Health and Environment suspended her license following an investigation. Hall admitted to causing the injuries by smacking the child and forcing them into a hot bath. Other children in her care were also found with injuries and have been placed in protective custody. Hall is free on a $25,000 bond.
