Torfaen County Borough Council has approved several planning applications, including tree removals at The Mount Christian Centre and Croesyceiliog, a two-story extension at Springvale, and a 20-meter monopole for telecommunications in Blaenavon. Additionally, a community garden will replace a former play area in Cwmbran. Meanwhile, Monmouthshire County Council has greenlit various residential projects, including new homes and extensions across multiple locations.
