Pennsylvania Turnpike redesigns Breezewood Interchange, expands roadway to six lanes, and implements Open Road Tolling by 2027.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike is set to redesign the Breezewood Interchange to connect with Interstate 70 as part of its Open Road Tolling initiative. The project includes a three-mile reconstruction and widening of the turnpike between mileposts 160-163, aimed at reducing congestion and improving travel times. The Total Reconstruction Initiative will expand the roadway to six lanes, with full implementation of ORT expected by 2027.
