Pakistan's Islamabad police adopt strict social media policy for officers.
The Islamabad Capital Territory police in Pakistan have implemented a new social media policy prohibiting officers from sharing opinions or content without prior approval. Officers cannot make videos or take photos in uniform for personal use, nor can they upload sensitive documents. Only the Public Relations Branch is authorized to communicate police activities. Violations will result in strict departmental action. Additionally, discussions on bilateral cooperation and climate change were noted in separate meetings involving Pakistani officials.
