The Odisha government will test the quality of ghee used for offerings at the Jagannath temple in Puri, following a controversy about animal fat in ghee at the Tirumala temple. District Collector Siddharth Shankar Swain stated there are no such allegations against the Jagannath temple, but the tests will ensure quality for the temple's prasad. The ghee supplier is the Odisha Milk Federation (Omfed).
