134 MW onshore wind project by Vestas in Japan, announced by Invenergy for the Inaniwa Wind Energy Center.

Vestas has secured its largest onshore wind project in Japan, a 134 MW order from Invenergy for the Inaniwa Wind Energy Center in Iwate prefecture. The project includes 32 V117-4.2 MW wind turbines and a 20-year service agreement. Deliveries are set for early 2027, with commissioning in Q1 2028. This project boosts Vestas' total installed capacity in Japan to over 1,180 MW, supporting the country's push for renewable energy.
