Christian Rosete, a Maui man, was found guilty of assault and abuse charges related to the severe beating of his ex-girlfriend's 11-month-old son in 2021. The child suffered critical injuries, including a fractured skull and brain bleeding. The child's mother, Passion Quirk, initially faced serious charges but accepted a plea deal to testify against Rosete. A court will determine if he will receive enhanced sentencing in October 2024.
