The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) will implement a reservation policy for its PhD admissions in 2025, following government guidelines. This policy will benefit Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and disabled candidates. The institute will allow a 5% relaxation in eligibility criteria for these groups. Previously, IIMA had no reservation system since its doctoral program began in 1971. Applications are due by January 20, 2025.
