Murray Sagsveen, an experienced Bismarck attorney, has been unanimously appointed to the North Dakota Ethics Commission, succeeding retiring chair Paul Richard. Sagsveen's background includes roles as chief of staff for the North Dakota University System, state agency attorney, and lobbyist. He proposed monthly webinars to educate the public and officials on state laws and ethics. Commissioners earn $213 per meeting, plus travel reimbursement.
