Australia's CSIRO has created a prototype nanofiber uniform to safeguard soldiers and emergency personnel from chemical and biological threats. This lightweight material filters harmful particles while ensuring comfort. Funded by the Department of Defense and developed with DMTC Limited, the uniform exceeded performance benchmarks in air filtration and chemical protection. The team is now seeking funding for field testing with the Australian Defense Force.
