Oscar Daniel Martinez Granados, 24, from Woodbridge, Virginia, was fatally struck by an Acura while crossing Old Keene Mill Road in Springfield on September 19. He was not in a crosswalk at the time of the incident. The driver remained at the scene, and authorities do not suspect alcohol involvement, but are examining whether speed was a contributing factor.
