A five-year-old girl, Uneja Sheikh, was killed, and three family members were injured when ceiling plaster collapsed in their Thane, Maharashtra home, which had been flagged as dangerous and required repairs. The injured include a 23-year-old, a 21-year-old, and a toddler. Following the incident, the building was evacuated and sealed. In a separate case, three individuals narrowly escaped a car fire on the Eastern Express Highway, prompting an investigation.
