UK fuel prices reach three-year low due to lower oil prices and reduced global demand.

Fuel prices in the UK have reached their lowest levels in nearly three years, with average petrol prices dropping from 142.9p to 136.2p per litre and diesel from 147.7p to 140.9p. This decline, nearly 7p per litre in a month, is linked to lower oil prices at $73 a barrel and reduced global demand. The RAC forecasts further price drops, potentially reaching 132p for petrol and 138p for diesel by the end of September.
