In Gujarat's Dahod district, a school principal, Govind Nat, was arrested for allegedly raping and murdering a six-year-old student. The girl's body was discovered in the school's backyard after her mother had entrusted her to the principal's care. Investigators revealed that Nat attempted to sexually assault the girl, smothering her when she resisted. He misled police about her disappearance but later confessed. Nat is scheduled to appear in court on September 24th.
