In East Nashville, police responded to a barricade situation involving 31-year-old Michael Ridley, who allegedly shot at an officer during a foot chase and later barricaded himself in a home. Ridley had outstanding felony warrants and had threatened two individuals inside the residence before they escaped. Police heard a gunshot from the house at 6:39 a.m., and Ridley was later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Medical Examiner is confirming his identity.
