Jacob M. Dunn, 87, of Marble Hill, Missouri, died in an ATV accident on September 20, 2024. At approximately 5:02 p.m., his Yamaha ATV was hit from behind by a 2017 Ford Edge driven by 18-year-old Wyatt Welker, who failed to yield. Dunn, who was not wearing a safety device, was pronounced dead later that evening at St. Francis Medical Center. This incident is noted as the 45th traffic fatality in southeast Missouri for the year.
