J.E. Anderson and Associates, a Victoria-based firm, is suing B.C. Transit to prevent eviction from their long-occupied office, following B.C. Transit's 2020 property purchase for $1.84 million. Although the sale included a lease allowing Anderson's firm to stay until 2031, B.C. Transit plans to expropriate the site for a $48 million operations yard. Anderson seeks an injunction to remain until the lease ends or they find another location.
