The University of Maine Football Team rallied from a 15-6 halftime deficit to defeat Merrimack 26-15 on September 21. They scored 20 unanswered points in the second half, outperforming Merrimack in rushing (126-103) and passing (22-92) yards. Quarterback Carter Peevy threw for 225 yards and two touchdowns, with Tavion Banks leading in rushing. The victory improved Maine's record to 2-2, and they will face the University at Albany on September 28.
