Two swimmers went missing at Sheep's Crossing Recreation Site on the Salt River in Maricopa County, Arizona. Deputies discovered one man, Mohammad Seleman Nasri, deceased at the scene after being found by Good Samaritans. The second swimmer, 25-year-old Abdul Khaliqi, was located on September 21 in eight feet of water after a search began on September 18. Both incidents occurred within the same week, and the victims' identities were initially withheld.
