The Punjab Police's Anti-Narcotic Task Force, in collaboration with a central agency, has dismantled a significant drug trafficking syndicate and arrested ten individuals, including alleged mastermind Lovepreet Singh. The group operated in Jalandhar, Amritsar, and Ludhiana, smuggling drugs across the border and transferring funds to Pakistan-based smugglers via hawala. Authorities seized 1 kg of heroin, 381 grams of charas, firearms, cash, and gold. Further investigations are ongoing.
