Ottawa firefighters extinguished a bedroom fire in a Beacon Hill South townhouse early Sunday. The blaze, reported at 12:53 a.m. on Jasmine Crescent, was contained before spreading, with the fire under control by 1:35 a.m. No injuries were reported as firefighters conducted a thorough search and found no occupants inside. An investigator has been assigned to determine the cause of the fire.
