The girl's father informed the police, stating that the suspect threatened the girl to keep quiet. Femi confessed, claiming the girl was his girlfriend. Separately, a stepfather and two accomplices were arrested for sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl, with confessions received from some suspects.
