A 96-year-old man has died in a Sydney hospital following a road traffic collision in Smithfield. The incident occurred on Woodpark Road when his Toyota Yaris collided with a stationary heavy vehicle trailer. He was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries at Westmead Hospital. Cumberland Police are investigating and seeking information, including any relevant footage, from the public.
