A 12-year-old boy at Siegel Middle School in Rutherford County, Tennessee, has been charged with aggravated assault and carrying a weapon on school grounds after using a sharpened toothbrush to poke another student. Although the victim was not injured, the incident led to the boy's expulsion under the school's zero-tolerance policy. He is currently held at the Rutherford County Juvenile Services Center, awaiting a court hearing.
