In the second quarter of 2024, Zimbabwean asset managers reduced equity investments by 14.62 percentage points, shifting towards property markets for better returns, as reported by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe. Equity exposure fell to 37.21%, while property investments rose to 45.91%. Total funds under management increased by 25.17% to ZWG46.5 billion (US$3.3 billion), but rising operating costs raised concerns about the sector's sustainability.
