A pedestrian was killed on September 19 at 9:05 PM after being struck by a 2017 BMW 540i sedan on Midlothian Turnpike in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police. The victim was taken to the hospital but later died. Authorities are withholding the victim's name pending notification of next of kin and are asking for public assistance in the ongoing investigation.
