The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is investigating a leak from a wastewater force main into the Cedar River in Nashua, releasing approximately 16,000 gallons of wastewater daily. Discovered on Wednesday, repairs are underway, with hopes to complete them by Friday. Signs warn against recreation in areas south of Highway 346. No dead fish have been reported, and further assessments will be conducted by DNR in collaboration with city officials.
