2 drivers killed in head-on collision on Texas Highway 62, igniting both vehicles; investigation ongoing.
A head-on collision on Texas Highway 62 near Buna resulted in the deaths of two drivers late Thursday night. A 2013 Chevrolet Traverse crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2017 Ford F-150, igniting both vehicles. The drivers, residents of Jasper and Orange Counties, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities are being withheld pending family notifications. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the incident.
