Nadine Lattimore, a blind Paralympian, has been awarded €2,000 by Lidl for disability discrimination after being asked to move her guide dog from a bakery section. The Workplace Relations Commission ruled that Lidl failed to ensure Lattimore's access to services, causing her distress. Although Lidl acknowledged shortcomings and is working on improving staff training regarding guide dogs, it initially denied any discrimination.
