The ADB approves ₹530 crore for Tripura to improve drinking water supply in 12 cities.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide ₹530 crore to Tripura for improving drinking water supply in 12 cities, benefiting approximately 400,000 residents. Chief Minister Manik Saha initiated the 'Mukhyamantri Nagar Unnayan Prakalp' to address water issues for over 75,000 families within three years. The project includes 305 km of pipelines, 25 tubewells, 18 iron removal plants, four treatment plants, and 19 reservoirs, with a second phase planned for additional cities.
