A 26-year-old passenger died following a rollover accident on Pyramid Lake Road in Jasper on September 19. The driver, charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous operation causing death, and failing to comply with a breath demand, was arrested after the crash, which involved four people. Two other passengers sustained minor injuries. Authorities temporarily closed the road during the investigation, confirming alcohol was a contributing factor.
