Treated by a team of over 10 specialists, the operation involved key-hole surgery and was the first of its kind for a rhino. Post-surgery, Amara received platelet-rich plasma injections to aid healing. She has since recovered and returned to her outdoor habitat, marking a significant advancement in veterinary care for wildlife.
